Two announcements for updated product offerings:
First, chicken is back! Starting this coming Wednesday, Sept 2, we will have whole frozen chickens available at both South Lyon and Canton. They will be $29 each for a roughly 6 pound naturally raised bird. Unlike last year, I won’t collect preorders for them- it will be first come first served. So, when you come to pick up and you’d like one or more chickens, just shoot me a text with how many you’re taking and we’ll work out the money from there. For planning ahead, they expect to process birds again in late Sept/Oct, and then that will be it until next year. Also, the last Sept round of chickens will have an option for the whole bird to be cut up into its major pieces before freezing. You would still get a full bird, just in pieces. We are not selling breast-only or legs-only, just cut up for easier cooking. They will only do that for us if there demand, so please text me if that’s something you’d be interested in for the future (and a few extra dollars added to the price).
Second update: tomatoes. We are discontinuing the 1lb bag of tomatoes now for the season, but will still offer the 10 lb boxes of canning tomatoes for 3 more weeks. Last chance to order will be for the September 16th delivery.

Two annoucements:
First, zucchini from Robert's garden will be available soon! Instead of placing specific orders, Robert will have a box of available zucchini at both the South Lyon and Canton pick up points and first-come-first-served. I don't know how many weeks this will be available, so don't delay if you want any. As for pricing, we will handle with the honor system and donations. You can either leave cash there at pick up, or send extra in your electronic payments. I expect the first availability could be Wednesday August 12th, but if not, then by the 19th.
Secondly, speaking of August 19th, the Canton drop off will be delayed that day as we will be moving in at college! South Lyon is unaffected. Text messages will still be sent when the products are available for pick up, but for Canton, expect that could be late Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

Two changes are coming to Creamy Meadows soon. One is change in our recurring delivery day, and the other is a price increase on a couple of items.
First, delivery change. Starting the week including July 28th and 29th, our delivery day will change from Tuesdays to Wednesdays. As the number of total members and drop off locations has grown, the farm team need to split the deliveries to two separate days per week instead of all on one. Our two drop offs in Canton and South Lyon will move to Wednesdays, while some other drops will be receiving products on Monday. This will help them balance total demand and keep products as fresh as possible. This also means the ordering deadline will now be Monday nights at 9pm (instead of Sunday at 9pm).
Secondly, a price increase. As we all see things getting more expensive, we need to increase a few prices to offset primarily fuel and transportation (truck) costs. So, starting with the August 5th delivery date, the following will change:
* Gallon milk increases by $1
* Heavy cream increases by $2
* Butter increases by $2
The rest of the pricing remains the same. These prices will be updated on the Google Form ordering sheet the week before August 5th for that order period.
